Before booking you will have a chance to view all of artist portfolios and our rates. Once you have completed an inquiry form on our site we will send a brochure over for you to view all the services and packages we offer. Once you have selected your services we will then put together a custom proposal that includes your invoice and service contract. Once you are officially booked we will then plan your trial and begin to put together your wedding day timeline.
How do I officially book?
We required a completed service contract and a non-refundable 30% retainer. The retainer will be applied to your total cost. We will send you a proposal via email and you will be able to sign and pay your 30% retainer on your computer.
Why do you have a timeline made for the day of?
Timelines help us ensure that each artist stays on time and that everyone receiving services know where they need to be and when. This relieves stress on the day of the wedding and allows other vendors to also know when you will be ready.
I have booked you for my wedding and was wondering if I would be able to cancel a service?
Once you have completed your contract and paid your 30% retainer no service deduction can be made. Though, services can be transferred to another person (i.e. guest or family) that will be attending the wedding. For add on services the day of the wedding, the Senior Artist on site will determine if they are able to complete any additional services. All additional services will only be rendered with payment given prior to the service and after all contracted services are completed.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations should be made no later than two (2) months prior to the wedding date. The non-refundable 50% retainer is held to cover the loss. For more information on policies please view our Policies page.
When should I make my payment?
Your non-refundable 30% retainer is due at the time of your booking and your finally payment is due three (3) weeks out from your wedding.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all credit & debit card payments through your online invoices, as well as checks.
Note: Your booking is not 100% completed until your check is received and clears through the bank.
Should I have a trial/preview service?
We highly recommend Brides having a trial/preview service. The trial allows your artist to work with you one on one to ensure we deliver, to the best of our abilities, the look you would like for your big day! We are able to decide colors and styles at the trial and take our time to not only get your look right but to get to know each other.
When should I schedule a trial?
We recommend having a trial no sooner than 3 months out but no later than 4 weeks from your wedding. Trial appointments are available during our studio hours. Tuesday 10am-5pm Thursday 10am-6pm Friday 9am-7pm
What should I bring or expect at the trial?
We recommend to send your inspiration photos prior or to bring them to your trial. Also, we recommend to wear a white shirt and wear your everyday makeup look. We ask you to wear your everyday makeup look so we have an idea of your everyday style. Most trials last about 1 hr 15 mins to 1 hr 30 mins per service. So if you are receiving a hair and makeup trial expect the trial to be about 3 hours. Need more info or help preparing for your bridal trial?
